The house is on one floor and consists of a south-facing sitting/dining room, opening onto a terrace shaded by kiwi vine, and with the kitchen leading off it. There is 1 double bedroom with shower room (shower, basin, WC) en suite, 2 bedrooms with twin or double beds, and 1 bathroom with bath tub, hand-held shower, basin, WC. There is also a summerhouse, in which two people can sleep. The house is comfortably furnished with sofas, large numbers of books and a Steinway upright piano. It is 80 sq m in area.
It is close to the Upper House and, taken together, the two houses are ideal for large groups of up to 12 - 14. If the Lower House is rented on its own, the occupants of it have exclusive use of the pool which is next to that house. The pool functions from April - October 2004.

On account of the large number of steps, the house is not suitable for those with walking difficulties or very small children.
