Vigna la Corte

The three holiday houses, which can sleep a total of 24 people, are set in a hillside property of 2.5 hectares, with olives, walnuts, fruit trees and a stream, overlooking the site of the villa of the Roman poet, Horace, in a tranquil and mountainous national park of great beauty. Two of the houses have their own small swimming pools. The picturesque hilltop village of Licenza (altitude 450 m) is 1 kilometre away. There are panoramic views in all directions.

The landscape consists of wooded hills rising to mountains. There is a waterfall 100 metres from the house, from which a stream flows through the property. Wild flowers and birds abound, including a golden eagle which nests 3 km away, and there is hill walking in the whole area. In the village there is a tennis court, excellent trattoria, pizzerias and bars, baker, food shops and a small museum with the finds from Horace's Villa. The village is a pleasant walk from the houses or 2 minutes by car.

These family vacation homes combine the best of Rome and regional Italy and provide a perfect base for those wanting to visit Rome, with the possibility of escaping from the heat and confusion of the city, or to visit the sacred sites of central Italy or just to have a quiet rest away from it all.

The houses are all self-catering and are suitable for peaceful, away-from-it-all, family holidays. Wonderful hill-walking is available in the Parco dei Monti Lucretili Regional National Park, which the houses are situated within.

Outside facilities: barbecue, garden, swimming pools, table tennis, parking, terraces, garden chairs, sun loungers.

The Upper and Lower Houses are on one floor and are therefore suitable for children, the elderly and less mobile, although there are a few steps outside these two houses which mean that a wheelchair can only be used with help.
